I listen to a lot of photography podcast and from time to time the question “When do you consider yourself a Pro” gets asked. Some suggest that when you start getting paid for your work, you’re a Pro. Others think you’re a Pro when you start getting noticed……..even if your not getting paid. But I think differently on the matter. To me you’re a Pro only after you’ve mastered your skill and posses total confidence in your abilities. You are consistent with the quality of your work. And most of all always being excited enough about your work that you want to show it. I think the same applies to loftytales question: “Do you believe that a person can call themselves an artist? How do you know when you become one? How do you even define artist?”
